Jordan's Birthday

Since it's been a month while since I last posted, I thought I'd jump back on the blog wagon with another birthday post. This Wednesday, one of my dear, dear friends celebrated number 2-9. We couldn't allow Jordan's entry into his last year of his 20s go un-celebrated. So, we went to..... Red Lobster. That's right.

First, Jordan is an easy guy to please. He is a man of simple taste and he knows what he likes. While we were watching the Alabama - Arkansas football game last weekend, we saw Red Lobster's ad for Endless Shrimp. Red Lobster has been a running joke in our circle o' friends for about four years. One of our friends has been very vocal about not being a fan of the wonderful seafood that is Red Lobster. However, after joining us for dinner one evening four years ago, he was not so vocal anymore.  Anywho, as soon as the commercial came on, I immediately knew where we would have the birthday dinner, and Jordan was totally on board.

Ironically enough, everyone invited showed up for dinner. That rarely happens with everyone's busy schedules. I think it speaks volumes about how much everyone a.) loves Jordan and b.) loves the Lobster. I mean, who can resist those delicious cheddar bay biscuits?

We began the evening with drinks, which for Jonathan meant a Bahama Mama.

Happy I was able to capture baby Russell's first trip to Red Lobster. Already, he's enamored with the biscuits. Smart guy.

Love that little man.

Sorry for the blurriness. Jordan and David - childhood friends :)

Walking in to the Lobster, David says, "I don't think I'm going to do the Endless Shrimp." Fast forward to this picture where he's eating his 5th order of shrimp. And creamy pasta no less.

To our friend Jordan - love you and so happy we got to celebrate your birthday in style.

Hey Elizabeth! I just found your blog! I really enjoyed getting to see you recently and I'm glad I now have a way to keep up with what's going on in your life!

The party for Jordan looked like a lot of fun. He really is a good "catch" so I think you took him to the right place!

It was so great to see you too, Kasi! Happy to have you as a new follower.

Jordan is such a good catch - wish I had titled my post with that!

I never go to Red Lobster (there aren't many around here), but the cheddar bay biscuits are sooooo good. I could gain ten pounds eating those.
