BHM --> BOS, the 'Ham to Beantown

As a foodie, is it any coincidence I moved from a city with a food nickname to another? I think not. Beantown was in one word, ah-may-zing. I had such a great visit. I met up with former colleagues, my sorority sister Tiffany, and a whole lot of BU girls. However, I spent the majority of my time eating, drinking, shopping and walking. Not a lot of cultural activities, unless drinking Champagne counts, just enjoying the city. I miss being able to walk out my front door and walk around aimlessly. Sprawling Southern cities aren't very walk-friendly.

So pictures....

In the Boston Commons - aren't the trees gorgeous!?

On my way to Charles Street in Beacon Hill, my favorite street in my favorite neighborhood

Entrance to the Public Gardens

BU (Boston University) gals, L to R: Jen, Anne, Moi, Ali and Jill

Jen, my most favorite Vermont-er and Caitrin, one of my lovely hostesses

Anne and Caitrin - I cheered with Anne at BU and she and Caitrin are sisters, now rooming together in a lovely flat in Beacon Hill. Such a cute apartment. Don't you loved the exposed brick? It was the backdrop for most of our pre-game pictures.

Dunphy (her last name) - one of the most fun girls and best dancers I've ever met, Anne and Caitrin

THANK YOU GIRLS FOR INDULGING AN OLE' SOUTHERN GAL for the Weekend!

I will be back before you know it. Tell Dunphy it's no longer "her" bed. It's a co-op.

Lacey - you have to go!!! It's my favorite American city by far.
