Go here for the recipe. I like to add potatoes and/or mushrooms to the mix along with 2-3 bay leaves and extra Worcestershire sauce. But that's just me - I could drink Worcestershire from the bottle. Hope you enjoy this shortcut as much as I do.

Honey, I'm Home
One of my greatest pleasures is coming home after work, opening my front door and smelling the aroma of a deliciously cooked pot roast. For a moment, I imagine I have a housewife husband who has spent the last four hours over the stove. But alas, it is my lovely slow cooker. This is my most favorite-st slow cooker recipe. And, it is SO simple. Very few ingredients and most of which are pantry staples. All glory goes to Martha Stewart and her Everyday Food team. It's so yummy I just had to share.
