pink + green

Mom and I were hostesses for a Bridesmaids Luncheon this past weekend. It turned out so well that I had to share pictures.

The Luncheon was held at Catherine's Market on the patio. Rustic chic, if you will. The weather and atmosphere were equally lovely. Here's the entrance to the patio. Mom picked fresh herbs for decorations and they permeated the air. That's fresh mint by the chalkboard sign.

Another chalkboard sign to toast the bride-to-be.

Here's our table setting - pale pink roses, mint and basil. The dessert and drink table is in the background.

The roses in the vintage tea pot were a hit. Don't you love mixing old with new?

Here's a close-up of the desserts - homemade meringue cookies, truffles, Lilly Pulitzer animal crackers and chocolates.

Mom wrapped the truffles in pink tissue paper and tied them with gold ribbon. Normally, gold ribbon is not really on my list, but this combo is brilliant!

Miniature chocolates wrapped in pastel papers and tied with pink bakers twine. A huge hit.

Aforementioned animal crackers. These are just plain fun.

Another close-up angle.

Freshly squeezed lemonade infused with mint leaves

Pink paper straws. So lovely.
